Kayla Toler SkillsUSA President

Kayla Toler, a student from Kim Brown’s Therapeutic Services program, ran for a WV SkillsUSA State Officer position and was elected as the new WV SkillsUSA State President. SkillsUSA is a United States career and technical student organization serving more than 395,000 high school, college and middle school students and professional members enrolled in training programs in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. Miss Toler will be representing West Virginia at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Ky. There she will participate in Delegate sessions for middle-school, high-school and college/postsecondary students conducted by the national officers. The sessions provide a platform to conduct the organization’s official business of WV SkillsUSA. She will also represent WV at the Washington Leadership Training Institute in Washington DC. This week long training focuses on professionalism, communication and leadership skills. Ralph R. Willis Career and Technical Center is proud of the accomplishments of Miss Toler and her representation of our school, county and state.
